I am originally from Oregon, but my family moved to Texas two years ago for my husband's job. I was subbing last year and the beginning of this year before getting a call to teach full-time.
I am married to my wonderful husband of 11 years and we have two amazing kids! They are 5 and 2 years old. Family is the most important thing in my life and I am so grateful to have such a sweet little family.
I love to teach the younger elementary grades. I have found that the expectations and rigor is much different here in Texas than it is in Oregon. I LOVE the smaller class sizes of Texas (even though having 19 five year olds is tough). I sometimes sit and try to remember "How did I do it?" with 28-36 kids in a class back in Oregon.

- Reese's Peanut Butter cups, Skittles, jelly beans, Starburst, and anything else that is fruity.
- I snack on crackers, check mix, apples, chips & salsa
- I love to eat Mexican food and pizza
- I love to dance, watch movies with my kids, take photographs, and listen to music
- I'm slightly addicted to Candy Crush, Words with Friends, and Draw Something 2
- Oregon State Beavers!!!
