Tying shoes is an important self-help skill that is often challenging for young children. Our goal in Kindergarten is to have students be independent and tie their own shoes. I found a couple good videos on YouTube to help you teach your child to tie their shoes.
The first video is a quick and easy method. I have never seen this way to tie shoes before, but it might be the easiest for young kids to learn.

If students are able to demonstrate that they are able to tie their shoes by Friday, November 8th, they will get to sign the Smarty Pants. Looking forward to seeing some handy helpers tie their own shoes this week!
