100th Day of School!

Today we celebrated the 100th day of school! The class was so excited to see the fun poster that we had hanging in our entryway.

Some of us created shirts with 100 items on them.
Here is the group of kids who brought in 100 items to share. We had pennies, legos, toys, beads, popcorn necklaces, and numerous other 100 day items. So fun to see the creativity.

We did rotations during the afternoon. In my class we watched a short video of people. They said their age for the camera. It was cool watching how people age. Then we discussed the characteristics of elderly people. I showed them a few pictures I found on the iterate and then they had materials to create themselves when they are 100 years old. Pretty fun for all!
